Each house is self-contained with its own entrance — nothing is shared inside.
Two bedrooms
A master bedroom with cot and mattress, plus a second bedroom with a floor mattress — for up to 6 guests.

AC and a fan in the master bedroom; a fan in the second bedroom.

Induction cooktop, cookware, utensils, small oven and a water purifier.

Staying near Marudhamalai and Isha
Vadavalli is on the western side of Coimbatore, at the foot of the Marudhamalai hills, which makes our homestay a convenient base for visiting the Marudhamalai Murugan temple. Vadavalli is also on the way from the city towards Thondamuthur and the Isha Yoga Center with the Adiyogi statue. Ask us on WhatsApp for directions and current travel times.

How do I check availability?
Choose your house, dates and number of guests on the enquiry page, then tap “Continue on WhatsApp”. Your message opens in WhatsApp ready to send, and our host replies with availability and pricing. Nothing is booked until the host confirms with you directly.

Is Serene Steps near Marudhamalai temple and the Isha Yoga Center?
Yes. We are in Vadavalli, the Coimbatore neighbourhood at the foot of the Marudhamalai hills, so the Marudhamalai Murugan temple is close by. Vadavalli is also on the way from the city towards Thondamuthur and the Isha Yoga Center (Adiyogi), so the homes make a convenient base for both. What is the difference between Serene Steps and Serene Steps Orion?
They are two separate single-storey two-bedroom homes on the same plot. Serene Steps Orion is the road-side house, nearest the gate; Serene Steps is the rear house, set back from the road. Each has its own entrance, living hall, kitchen and toilet, and they are not connected inside. Room sizes differ slightly — see each house’s page.
How many guests can stay?
Each house accommodates up to 6 guests; larger groups can ask us about booking both houses for the same dates. In each house the master bedroom has a cot and mattress, and the second bedroom has a floor mattress.
What facilities are included?
Each house has an air-conditioned master bedroom with a cot, mattress and fan; a second bedroom with a floor mattress and fan; a living hall with a dining table, Wi-Fi and washbasin; a kitchen with an induction cooktop, cookware, utensils, a small oven and a water purifier; and a toilet with a water heater. Serene Steps also has a TV in the living hall. A washing machine outdoors is shared by both houses. For anything else, such as power backup, please ask us on WhatsApp.
What are the check-in and checkout times?
Check-in is from 1:00 PM and checkout is by 11:00 AM. Earlier check-in or later checkout can often be arranged with prior notice — just ask.
Is parking available?
Yes. The shared porch has space for four cars in two rows and serves both houses. Mention how many vehicles you are bringing when you enquire.
